Eggslut launches second UK site in London, Fitzrovia

To celebrate the launch of Eggslut UK’s second London restaurant in Fitzrovia, 19 Percy Street, we hosted a private party in line with government guidelines and social distancing regulations.

The modern, industrial chic restaurant is split over two levels with a street-level front terrace for outdoor dining, a bespoke art mural created by London based street-artist Woskerski and egg booth installation from Bompas and Parr. Guests were treated to their choice of eggslut’s signature menu items including The Slut dish, The Fairfax and The Gaucho.

During the evening, sister duo The Collyer Twins performed a DJ set from the egg booth and guests were given exclusive eggslut merchandise.

To manage and operate the new Fitzrovia site, eggslut has hired hospitality workers who were made redundant as a result of COVID-19. The recruitment drive follows eggslut’s ongoing support of front-line workers during lockdown, which has seen the brand offering a 50% discount and arranging twice-weekly free sandwich deliveries to staff at University College London, as well as regular deliveries to St.Charles and St. Thomas Hospitals and support non-profit Feed our Frontline.

The restaurant officially opened the next morning on 15th July for dine-in and takeaway.
