The Lady Garden Foundation launches the Lady Garden 2022 Challenge in partnership with Simplyhealth, hosted by Davina McCal

On Saturday 14th May, 300 runners of every kind took part in The Lady Garden 2022 Challenge in Partnership with Simplyhealth, hosted by Davina McCall. Participants could choose either a 5km or 10km run, following a unique course in Hyde Park, to fundraise for gynaecological cancers.

Halpern invited numerous celebrities and influencers to attend the run. Ed Westwick, Amy Jackson, Frida Redknapp, Tallia Storm and Laura Pradeslska were among those who attended and took part in the Challenge. Co-founders of the charity, Mika Simmons, Tamara Beckwith, and Jenny Halpern Prince, also all attended, with members of the public getting involved to raise money and urgently needed funding. The Lady Garden Challenge, held annually by the charity, is supported by committee members including Vogue Williams, Arizona Muse, Mary Charteris and June Sarpong.

Through events like the annual running challenge, Lady Garden Foundation wants to change how people talk about gynaecological cancers and raise money to fight against these diseases, which have received a lack of funding and awareness for so long.

Pre-event, we placed the news of the Lady Garden event in multiple London listings to spread awareness of the run and encourage sign-ups. Post-event, we secured 16 placements in showbiz titles and national newspapers, including two Mail Online articles, the Evening Standard and the Daily Star, with a total reach of over 117 million.
